Ideas for self portraits

I am thinking of photographing someone ells but having my face on the person. I was studying at southport college for four years. The first two years was on a btec in Art and Design and two years btec in multiemedia. having the art and media background i am thinking of using them both and try to link my photography in with this to. I really do want to make this self portrait look wierd and scary because i think with all my work i have never produced anything wierd and scary before so i am going to give this ago.

This image below is of Saw V. i think this photograph is a mix between photography and media together. most definatly been minipulated to give that grainy affect witch is what i am after when i come to do my self portrait.

This is another image that i can relate to is some way. It makes me think about who i am and how i can feel sometimes. With my self portraits i want to express my self and not just show who i am and this picture i feel i can relate with personaly. Some times i feel stressed and no matter what i do or what you do you cant escape. if you watch the film you will see how he sivives and in life i feel you have to do anything to servive. it also says to me you need to be thinking outside the box as in think about the futur and not today.

This is another wierd ans scary photograph i think. i was thinking about having someing like this but in a dirty kitchin or somewere abandand and have my refelction in a miror. Not to sure on this idea.

  1. Really good ideas Ryan, i love that you're going down a creepy route :D your second idea reminded me of this: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2210/2451822600_1f6b7a5492.jpg by Joshua Hoffine.. amazing horror photographer!

Also, just thought i'd remind you that were only allowed to do minimal post production (colour adjustments) :(
