In this lesson with Andrew we was told to have are ISO on 400 at f 5.6 1/250 shutter speed.
This Lesson was to show how lighting can be used and what the lighting does when used in order.
Below is a lighting set up showing you the position of the light and how it looks at a 45%45% angle. The lighting here is a (Soft box) facing towards the subject at 45% 45%
Below is a perfume bottle but this time on a box and the lighting is set to (Back light.) Back light is were the light is placed behind the subject to give shadow to the front of what ever it is you are photographing.
Below again is a perfume bottle and this time you can see a difference of the lighting. This is called ( Bottom Light ) The light s directing up to the subject so it makes the inside of the bottle more clear and lights up quiet nicely i think.
Another shot of Bottom light
Below is a example of (Top light) Top light is good for lighting the whole subject and you can get a lot of detail using this set up.
This Shot below shows a set up of lighting facing towards the subject. this technique can be used for high key lighting and makes the subject.
This is a pore shot of the perfume bottle and the reason why is because the lesson was about looking at lighting techniques and what type of lighting we can use. We wasn't thinking about having i perfect shot, we was looking ad different light sources.
After looking at the type of lighting equipment and shown how we can experiment with light we was told to go out with are cameras and photograph a bottle of are choice but only with the available lighting. Below are photographs of the shots are team of three come up with.
We used a reflector to angle the light coming in from the window down to the subject we was photographing.
After that we decided to change are location and put are bottle on top of a up side down bin and and try to capture the light what was coming of the light on the wall. below shows how we did this.
From that idea we went in to the dark room and turned on the red light to try and get the reflection of the bottle.
Shot taken under safe light.
